JORDAN KAWAGUCHI

Jordan Kawaguchi, is a Canadian professional ice hockey center known for his leadership and offensive skills across multiple levels of competitive hockey.

Kawaguchi began his junior hockey career with the Chilliwack Chiefs of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL), where he played from 2013 to 2017. He served as team captain for his final two seasons and earned a scholarship to play hockey at the University of North Dakota.

Post Juniors, at the University of North Dakota (UND), Kawaguchi had a particularly notable Junior season, as he tallied 45 points in 33 games, earning him the NCHC Forward of the Year award and a spot on the All-NCHC First Team. He was also a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, recognizing the top NCAA men’s ice hockey player.

After college, Kawaguchi signed with the Dallas Stars as a free agent (2021) and went on to play for the Texas Stars, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of Dallas. He then played for the Idaho Steelheads (ECHL) and most recently played for the Belfast Giants, where he helped the Giants win the 2025 EIHL Championship.

Jordan enjoyed a successful playing career and his experience and hockey IQ will help him give back to young players who are developing their game in all aspects. Jordan looks forward to connecting with young players and share his knowledge of the game.
